ALUDAISSA PVC is a lightweight and extremely flat polyvinyl chloride foam panel.
Each sheet comes with a clear protective film on one side and we bundle our sheets with a second plastic cover offering additional protection during transportation and delivery.
We stock three thicknesses: 3, 6 & 12 mm in solid white, and only in 4 ft X 8 ft sheets. Custom productions are available.
ALUDAISSA PVC Foam Board can be manufactured with various dosages of Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3): Rigid – 5% CaCO3; Middle – 13% CaCO3; Soft – 21% CaCO3; Softer – 31% CaCO3 The PVC Foam Board with LESS CaCO3 (like Rigid) offers a harder stiffer substrate. All offer standard ink absorption capability while the higher the dosage seems to allow a slightly higher absorption results. The board density is measured by grams per cubic meter or g/cm3. At present we are stocking 0.50g/cm3 and 0.55g/cm3 the difference being a slightly more compact molecular structure. Custom productions are available.
